Technology Marches On
Hi guys. I wish my life weren't so boring so I would actually have something to share on this blog once in a while. Anyway, I just realized that I'm sitting in a very interesting position. Kind of literally.
I've got my laptop out and I'm leaning up in bed typing. Not so unusual in itself, but I've got a monitor on my night stand that's hooked up to extend my laptop screen. Looking around my room, I see five computers, most of which I use at least somewhat regularly. Amazing, isn't it, that we've gone from huge, multi-ton behemoths that fill several rooms to feather-light devices that sit on your lap and have many times the computing power? That machines which once cost millions are now inexpensive enough for a college student to collect?
That's my thought for the day. Maybe if the teachers would let up on the homework I could have more of my own thoughts.
